St. Gabriel's 10th Anniversary: May 4, 2008
To mark this occasion we have commissioned Brad Phillips to write a hymn commemorating our first ten years. This musical piece (text below) was premiered at the 10:30 service on May 4th, sung again in its entirety on May 11th, and excerpted throughout May for use as our Presentation Hymn. Brad listened to the results and findings of the Holy Conversations Group and wrote these lyrics based on that work. If you would like to contribute to this commemoration, you will find an insert in our weekly bulletin (or you can email Carla here). Feel free to make your dedication in honor of a person, a ministry, a memory, a St. Gabe's story, the birth/life/death of a loved one, or any other aspect of the dynamic life of St. Gabriel's. We will be receiving these dedications through the month of May. Our music will be framed and placed in the parish hall along with our personal dedications.
